Lafayette Tennis Summer Camp 2012

Full DayCamp starts at 9:00AM and ends at 4:00PM.  For families with working parents we offer optional Pre-Camp Care (7:30AM - 9:00AM) and Post-Camp Care (4:00PM - 6:00PM) for an additional fee.  Half Day Camp from (9:00AM - Noon) is also available.
The camp will be using the two upper tennis courts at the Lafayette Recreation Center at 33rd and Quesada Sts., NW.  Players will learn to play tennis through shot drills, games and tennis matches appropriate for their skill level.  Fitness, strengthening and flexibility will be worked into the tennis activities.  Video analysis of players' strokes will be done to help them know how they are hitting the tennis ball.

MAIN CAMP GOAL - to help a player improve their tennis skills during the camp and have fun while doing it with the other kids.

How will we keep cool in the sizzling Washington heat?

 >    Cool off in the refreshing Lafayette Water Daisy

>     Enjoy "brain freezing" ice cold slushies from the delicious Broad Branch Market

>     Swim and dive in the pristine swimming pools at the Wilson Aquatic Center

>     Water balloon and hose fights - may the driest man win!

We will take advantage of kids’ programs affiliated with the WTT Washington Kastles this July and
the Legg Mason Tennis Tournament at the end of July.
